Mary Lake is a shearer, butcher and shepherd based in Bethel, Vermont. She travels the Northeast shearing and trimming the hooves of sheep and goats. She works closely with the Vermont Sheep and Goat Association and is a full-time butcher at The Royal Butcher , where she slaughters and cuts meat. She also raises her own sheep for breed stock, meat and fleece.
